I attended the University of Georgia from 2005-2008 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications. The Speech Communications major, which is part of the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences, focuses on studying effective communication skills and techniques in various environments and contexts. Some of my coursework included: Public Speaking, Communication & Culture, Advanced Interpersonal Communication, Rhetoric & Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, and Italian.  During my time at UGA, I maintained a strong GPA while being involved in a number of campus organizations and working multiple part-time jobs. While working as a basketball official for the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department and as a student worker for the UGA Alumni Association, I was also involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, Invisible Children, and UGA's Student Alumni Association. Additionally, I became involved with the community by serving as an after school counselor at Fowler Drive Elementary School and by working with the youth group at Athens Church.
